New Grant is Helping More Atlantans Stay Healthy
“I should eat WHAT?”
Patients suffering from heart disease, having to manage their diabetes, or recovering from a surgical procedure are often befuddled when their doctor recommends a new diet. For many, it means being introduced to new foods and healthier ways to prepare them.
Grady’s Food As Medicine program is there to help patients learn how to cook, shop, and eat differently. And, thanks to a grant from the Enterprise Mobility Foundation, this life-changing program will be able to serve even more patients.
From cooking classes to bins full of colorful vegetables, the Food As Medicine program is transforming lives one meal at a time. Launched in 2020 and housed in Grady's Jesse Hill Market, this innovative initiative tackles chronic disease through healthy eating.
Together, with supporters like you, Grady will be able to continue helping Atlantans get healthy, stay healthy, and thrive.
The mission of the Enterprise Mobility Foundation is to strengthen the communities where Enterprise Mobility team members live and work by actively supporting a range of charitable causes such as the environment, health and human services, education, military and disaster relief.
