Grady’s Heart Failure and COPD Departments Receive Prestigious National Ranking
Grady's exceptional performance in treating patients with heart failure and COPD has once again earned national acclaim. U.S. News and World Report has recognized Grady as one of the country's leading hospitals in these specialized areas of care.
Achieving this prestigious ranking means Grady scored in the top 10% of the approximately 4,500 hospitals nationwide that were evaluated. “These are, simply put, the best of the best,” said U.S. News about those hospitals that were honored.
John Haupert, president and CEO of Grady Health System, credited Grady’s staff and their commitment to our community. “This recognition highlights the hard work and dedication of our talented team of physicians, nurses, and other medical staff who strive daily to provide exceptional care to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.”
For Atlantans, the recognition means more than rankings and statistics, reassuring them that lifesaving heart and COPD care will be there for them when they need it. Whether they walk through our hospital doors, visit one of our clinics or invite us into their homes, patients know they can count on Grady’s award-winning team to not only treat their heart disease but help them prevent and manage it as well.
