VeloCity is a new, world-class cycling experience benefitting Grady Health System that will roll in Atlanta for the first time in May 2018.
With a downtown Atlanta start and finish, this event promises to quickly become a new tradition for our city and region - bringing cyclists and the community together to celebrate health and wellness while supporting one of our most important institutions and the critical role it plays for its patients and our economy.

  • Cyclists of all experience levels are encouraged to be part of this new fundraising ride that will kick off with an Opening Celebration on Friday, May 4.
  • Riders can choose from a short City Ride of 6 - 8 miles or a longer 25, 50 or 100 mile challenge, all of which will start at timed intervals on Saturday, May 5.
  • It’s a ride, not a race - riders will set their own pace as an individual or as part of a team.
  • All riders will pay a registration fee and commit to fundraising minimums based upon the distance selected.
  • Support from corporate sponsors will ensure that 100% of rider participation fees and fundraising will go directly to Grady.
  • Event co-chairs are Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff and SunTrust Robinson Humphrey president and CEO John Gregg, both avid cyclists.

We are proud to announce The Atlanta Journal Constitution as the presenting sponsor of VeloCity 2018. Additional sponsorship opportunities are still available.
